Privacy
This site collects as little as it can, holds it only as long as it needs to, and never sells it. In plain language, here is what that means.
The launch list
If you enter your email address to hear when the book publishes, we store that email address, the page you submitted it from, and the time of submission. We use it to send you a small number of messages about Thought Margin — the publication announcement and a short number of related updates — and nothing else. You can ask to be removed at any time.
Reader story submissions
If you send us a story for a future edition, we store what you send us along with your contact details and your consent choices. We will not publish anything without written approval from you, and you can withdraw consent or request deletion at any point before publication.
The Scorecard
The Scorecard runs entirely in your browser. Your answers, your group scores, and your Index are never transmitted to us and never stored anywhere but on your own device. We have no way to see them. If you close the tab they are gone.
Requesting deletion
To have your email address removed from the launch list, or a story submission withdrawn, or any other personal information deleted, email us at the address on the contact page and tell us what to remove. We aim to act within thirty days.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that materially affects what we collect or how we use it, the change will be dated at the bottom of this page.
